Located on 20 acres, Chateau de Servigny is rich with history and played a major role in WWII.The Chateau witnessed the signing of the Treaty of Cherbourg between U.S. General Lawton Collins and German General Von Schlieben on June 26th 1944.
Located between Cherbourg and Bayeux, only 5 minutes by car from Balognes, one of the most beautiful towns in Normandy reputed for its beautiful 18th century architecture. This 16th-century chateau is an ideal base to explore Bayeux the D-Day landing beaches, the Bayeux Tapestry, the Giverny garden and Le Mont Saint Michel. There is a lynx golf course at Fontenay nearby and a superb parkland course at Omaha Beach Golf Club Bayeux.
The Chateau comfortably sleeps 15 people with 8 bedrooms and bathrooms and is elegantly furnished with period antique furniture. Depending on your needs, guests have the option of reserving a room or renting the entire chateau. Amenities include heated pool, tennis courts, wine tastings and internet.
