Marche residents also host some lovely annual celebrations like the Rossini Opera Festival in August, Fano Jazz by the Sea, and the International Piano Competition in Senigallia.

If you visit during July and August, be sure not to miss the Sferisterio Opera Festival in Marche's capital of Macerata. Each year they put on popular performances of three to four operas.

Marche continues to be a destination for tourists, whose multiplying numbers can be attributed to the rich cultural heritage of Marche, shown off by its history, monuments and numerous museums.
